Number of potholes increases (again)
The number of potholes in the UK has again risen during 2011 according to a survey carried out by the AA, with Scotland and the North-East the worst in the UK. There is still a shortfall in budget within the councils to cover the maintenance of the roads throughout the UK, which is only making the problem worse as more and more potholes are appearing.
